Batu Cem Tamer's late challenge caught a Yakakent SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Batu Cem Tamer helped the player get up and apologised. In the 2nd match minute, Mücahitler was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Batu Cem Tamer to maneuver through the defense. Bektaş Ali Hatmi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erman Kayacan having to interfere. İlbey Ramazan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gökmen Yalazay in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Gökmen Yalazay made a precise shot to the right of İlbey Ramazan. Yakakent SK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Yakakent SK's Bektaş Ali Hatmi slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Erman Kayacan. That made the score 1-1 after 15 minutes of play. Erman Kayacan made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Kasım Tekdoğan sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Mücahitler getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Alphan Semavi hit a great ball. Bektaş Ali Hatmi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bektaş Ali Hatmi charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bektaş Ali Hatmi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd minute, Bektaş Ali Hatmi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yakakent SK's İlbey Ramazan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kasım Aksel in the 37th minute of play. In the 47th minute Bektaş Ali Hatmi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erman Kayacan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gökmen Yalazay to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Gökmen Yalazay reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of İlbey Ramazan. The goal made the score 1-3. Kasım Aksel struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. İlbey Ramazan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mücahitler. In the 60th minute of the match Batu Cem Tamer shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but İlbey Ramazan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 66th minute, Mücahitler's Mehmet Hakkı Hacılar seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mehmet Hakkı Hacılar the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mücahitler protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mehmet Hakkı Hacılar had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 65th minute, one of Mücahitler:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Mücahitler. 71 minutes into the match, Mücahitler's Engin Baykutay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that İlbey Ramazan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kasım Aksel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. İlbey Ramazan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Yakakent SK booed when Mücahitler was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bedir Canfer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bektaş Ali Hatmi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Engin Baykutay kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Kasım Tekdoğan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Erman Kayacan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Yakakent SK's zone, Alphan Semavi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. İlbey Ramazan came out of the goal and Alphan Semavi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 87 minutes into the game, Mücahitler's Kasım Aksel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. İlbey Ramazan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. 91 minutes into the game, Bektaş Ali Hatmi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-4. Erman Kayacan was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Kasım Tekdoğan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 98 minutes into the match, Kasım Tekdoğan notched a goal, 4-4, to the right of Mücahitler's Erman Kayacan. Erman Kayacan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
