In the 3rd minute Kutlu Tuğser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mücahit Ethem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Şahin Türkyılmaz might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mücahit Ethem. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Şahin Türkyılmaz ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience thought a goal was coming when Batuğ Türkol got free with Gökalp İsiman in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mücahit Ethem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ahmet Nafiz Urandu in the 15th minute of the match. Arda Ozan Poyraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Mücahit Ethem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Evren's goal looked a bit too open when Hasan Ali Ülker came free, but Gökalp İsiman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute of the match Semih Ersed sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gökalp İsiman skillfully saved the ball. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when BEŞİKTAŞ's Hasan Ali Ülker in the 25th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Gökalp İsiman was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Evren through an amazing save. Batuğ Türkol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 32nd minute Ahmet Nafiz Urandu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mücahit Ethem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Evren defense, Batuğ Türkol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gökalp İsiman. The Evren fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gökalp İsiman should have stopped the shot. Gökalp İsiman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Batuğ Türkol in the 44th minute. Hasan Ali Ülker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gökalp İsiman having to interfere. BEŞİKTAŞ's Batuğ Türkol got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arda Ozan Poyraz to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Evren got a freekick which was hit by Ergincan Yürük. In the 53rd minute, Semih Ersed sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Evren's Gökalp İsiman didn't even have to move. Arda Ozan Poyraz struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Mücahit Ethem didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Evren. Hasan Ali Ülker charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hasan Ali Ülker the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Evren booed when BEŞİKTAŞ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Batuğ Türkol didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Hasan Ali Ülker managed to get in a good position for a shot. BEŞİKTAŞ's supporters rose to their feet, but Hasan Ali Ülker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gökalp İsiman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Batuğ Türkol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gökalp İsiman having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Hasan Ali Ülker put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Gökalp İsiman. Gökalp İsiman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batuğ Türkol in the 76th minute of play. Ahmet Nafiz Urandu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mücahit Ethem having to interfere. Kadir Ökten kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Arda Ozan Poyraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Mücahit Ethem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to BEŞİKTAŞ getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. İlhami Saban hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hasan Ali Ülker in the 87th minute of play forced Evren's goalkeeper Gökalp İsiman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 89 played minutes BEŞİKTAŞ got a freekick which was hit by Hasan Ali Ülker. 91 minutes into the match, Evren's goal looked a bit too open when Hasan Ali Ülker came free, but Gökalp İsiman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that BEŞİKTAŞ were the better team. BEŞİKTAŞ's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
