Mücahit Ethem didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sedat Bardakçı went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Rıza Adıvar charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rıza Adıvar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FBSK booed when BEŞİKTAŞ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rıza Adıvar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Ahmet Nedim Mahmut sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and BEŞİKTAŞ's Mücahit Ethem didn't even have to move. Eyüp Yazıcıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 34 played minutes BEŞİKTAŞ got a freekick which was hit by Rıza Adıvar. After having played for 35 minutes, Eyüp Yazıcıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FBSK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eyüp Yazıcıoğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 39 minutes into the match, Eyüp Yazıcıoğlu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mücahit Ethem. BEŞİKTAŞ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eyüp Yazıcıoğlu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. If Sedat Bardakçı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

In the 50thth minute of the game Eyüp Yazıcıoğlu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BEŞİKTAŞ's Mücahit Ethem was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. BEŞİKTAŞ's Mücahit Ethem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save BEŞİKTAŞ from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Sedat Bardakçı kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mücahit Ethem. That made the score 0-4 in the 94 minute of play. The BEŞİKTAŞ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FBSK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
