Gökberk İlmi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bayındır Mehmet Derviş, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Mehmet Şefik Terzioğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Oğuz Uraltay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Asım Akbaba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Gökberk İlmi made a huge save. Günesli SK's Gökberk İlmi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Günesli SK from getting a goal against them. After having played for 31 minutes, Ahmet Asım Akbaba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gönen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Asım Akbaba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bayındır Mehmet Derviş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Günesli SK's Gökberk İlmi got control of the ball when Ahmet Asım Akbaba tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mehmet Şefik Terzioğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Günesli SK's goal looked a bit too open when Bayındır Mehmet Derviş came free, but Gökberk İlmi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
