Silifke's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Gani İçkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ahmet Nedim Olgunsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Erdem Batüralp charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ali Erdem Batüralp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Sirkeci FK getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Ali Erdem Batüralp hit a great ball. Silifke's Cahit Pekdeger shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 13th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ahmet Nedim Olgunsu but with some difficulty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Orhan Veli Nizami during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th minute, Orhan Veli Nizami hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Serhan Yılma kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ahmet Nedim Olgunsu. That made the score 1-1 in the 23 minute of play. Musa Özgunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Nedim Olgunsu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serhan Yılma, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serhan Yılma in the 37th minute of play forced Sirkeci FK's goalkeeper Ahmet Nedim Olgunsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serhan Yılma received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ahmet Nedim Olgunsu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Serhan Yılma came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Silifke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serhan Yılma couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute, Abdi Rebi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Serhan Yılma made the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Silifke's Gani İçkin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Nedim Olgunsu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Serhan Yılma blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmet Nedim Olgunsu having to make a save. Serhan Yılma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute, Emrah Nurkan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Gani İçkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silifke's Arif Tankan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Silifke from getting a goal against them. Ahmet Nedim Olgunsu came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Silifke's Gani İçkin. But to his dismay, Gani İçkin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Sirkeci FK's Musa Özgunes got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gani İçkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serhan Yılma struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Ahmet Nedim Olgunsu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Silifke. Ali Erdem Batüralp hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. İlyas Bürge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arif Tankan having to interfere. In the 97th minute, Serhan Yılma got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Gani İçkin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
