With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ruhi Urangu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Saadettin Bahçıvan charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saadettin Bahçıvan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mavi Bayrak SK's Ali Nejat Öğeturk got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ali Nejat Öğeturk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Ruhi Urangu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mavi Bayrak SK's Mehmet Edip Doğulu got a free kick in the 16th minute. Aybars Seferoğlulları showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Göktürk Nesip, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Göktan Mecit during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ruhi Urangu went to the wrong direction when Hakkı Baş was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 37 minutes into the match, Aşır Ulualp dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ruhi Urangu, 3-0. Ali Nejat Öğeturk did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Ruhi Urangu 40 minutes into the match. If Ali Nejat Öğeturk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Ruhi Urangu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Nejat Öğeturk, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The Mavi Bayrak SK fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Mavi Bayrak SK's Ali Nejat Öğeturk looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Ali Nejat Öğeturk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 73rdth minute of the game Ali Nejat Öğeturk who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mayranazi FK's Ruhi Urangu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 75th minute Ahmet Arif Karadeniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruhi Urangu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mayranazi FK's zone, Ali Nejat Öğeturk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ruhi Urangu came out of the goal and Ali Nejat Öğeturk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Ahmet Arif Karadeniz came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Mavi Bayrak SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Arif Karadeniz couldn't finish the play. Ali Nejat Öğeturk struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Ruhi Urangu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mavi Bayrak SK. Ali Nejat Öğeturk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Ali Nejat Öğeturk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mehmet Edip Doğulu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 90 minutes into the match, Mayranazi FK's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Edip Doğulu came free, but Ruhi Urangu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mavi Bayrak SK's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
