An unexpectedly hard shot by Seyfullah Tamay in the 7th minute of play forced ÖzBağlar Futbol Kulübü's goalkeeper Cuma Sami to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cuma Sami made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Fikret Zeki in the 10th minute of play. With 12 minutes on the clock, Babür Reşit commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The goalkeeper, Cuma Sami, was totally fooled by Osmanlı Spor's Bedih Ulukaan, who 14 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Halim Pirane received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Cuma Sami tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, ÖzBağlar Futbol Kulübü's Ahmet Haşim Değirmencioğlu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Azim Öner made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Azim Öner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şahin Yunus in the 34th minute of play. After 36 played minutes Osmanlı Spor got a freekick which was hit by Bedih Ulukaan. Bilge Kağan Ungur struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Azim Öner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ÖzBağlar Futbol Kulübü. Bedih Ulukaan was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a little luck, ÖzBağlar Futbol Kulübü's Cuma Sami got control of the ball when Halim Pirane tried to sneak it across the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Seyfullah Tamay was the one to do the kick off. If Halim Pirane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ÖzBağlar Futbol Kulübü's Cuma Sami played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Halim Pirane in the 58th minute of play. Cuma Sami made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Fikret Zeki in the 59th minute of play. Akgün Kumanbay took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cuma Sami. Cuma Sami dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Ahmet Haşim Değirmencioğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Azim Öner having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Seyfullah Tamay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Osmanlı Spor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. A collision led to ÖzBağlar Futbol Kulübü getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Alişan Vakkasoğlu hit a great ball. Cuma Sami showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Seyfullah Tamay, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Haşim Değirmencioğlu in the 79th minute of play forced Osmanlı Spor's goalkeeper Azim Öner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Orkun Suni in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ÖzBağlar Futbol Kulübü's Şahin Yunus. Atalay Tecelli took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cuma Sami. ÖzBağlar Futbol Kulübü's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bilge Kağan Ungur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Azim Öner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
