This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Feyzullay Kuthan as he didn't even see the shot coming. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Cafer Beycan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elaziğ's supporters rose to their feet, but Cafer Beycan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Feyzullay Kuthan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the KAYI defense, Cafer Beycan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Feyzullay Kuthan. The KAYI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Feyzullay Kuthan should have stopped the shot. Cafer Beycan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Feyzullay Kuthan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Elaziğ getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. After 33 played minutes, KAYI's Naci Avşar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Garip Helvacı came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KAYI reached it. In the 34th minute, Cafer Beycan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cafer Beycan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feyzullay Kuthan having to interfere. In the 74th match minute, Elaziğ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehdi Vefai to maneuver through the defense. Mehdi Vefai recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Cafer Beycan came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Elaziğ fans jumped to their feet. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cafer Beycan in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Feyzullay Kuthan saved KAYI from getting behind. Cafer Beycan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Feyzullay Kuthan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Muammer Tardu threw the ball into play from the sideline. Elaziğ's Mustafa Hakan Kazım quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to KAYI getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Aytaç Ülgenalp hit a great ball. In the 94thth minute of the game Cafer Beycan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KAYI's Feyzullay Kuthan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in KAYI's zone, Taci Bekiroğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feyzullay Kuthan came out of the goal and Taci Bekiroğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cafer Beycan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elaziğ walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
