In the 36th minute Berkan Atlas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Garip Helvacı saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Garip Helvacı showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cafer Beycan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Cafer Beycan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Elaziğ's supporters rose to their feet, but Cafer Beycan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Garip Helvacı made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Berkan Atlas in the 62nd minute of play. Taci Bekiroğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elaziğ's Harun Oruz shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 70th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Arın Ferhat Özalpsan but with some difficulty. Cafer Beycan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arın Ferhat Özalpsan having to interfere. Necati Erakıncı hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. The supporters of Elaziğ booed when Kastamonuspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yasin Serter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Çakır Balamir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cafer Beycan in the 84th minute of play forced Kastamonuspor's goalkeeper Arın Ferhat Özalpsan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Harun Oruz kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Cafer Beycan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Arın Ferhat Özalpsan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berkan Atlas took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Garip Helvacı. Garip Helvacı dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0.
