Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Karadeniz Direnç started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 9 played minutes Sariyerspor got a freekick which was hit by Ali Nejat Akbulut. When Alemdar Pekgöz came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Trabzonspor SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alemdar Pekgöz couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute, Esat İlsu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Sariyerspor getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Meriç Beybolat hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Savaşer Tunç in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ayberk İzzettin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tümer Kudretullah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Savaşer Tunç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ayberk İzzettin having to interfere. Tümer Kudretullah could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Vural Yavuzalp made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Savaşer Tunç in the 38th minute of play forced Sariyerspor's goalkeeper Ayberk İzzettin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Savaşer Tunç in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ayberk İzzettin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Trabzonspor SK's Savaşer Tunç in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sariyerspor's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Savaşer Tunç in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ayberk İzzettin saved Sariyerspor from getting behind. Sariyerspor's Ali Nejat Akbulut shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 47th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Vural Yavuzalp but with some difficulty. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Savaşer Tunç was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Sariyerspor got a freekick which was hit by Tümer Kudretullah. Karadeniz Direnç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 56 minutes, Tümer Kudretullah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sariyerspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tümer Kudretullah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Trabzonspor SK's Mehmet Hamdi Değirmenci got a free kick in the 57th minute. Karadeniz Direnç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Vural Yavuzalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Trabzonspor SK's zone, Karadeniz Direnç stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vural Yavuzalp came out of the goal and Karadeniz Direnç tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes in the game, Savaşer Tunç dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 76th minute, Güvenç Özdinçer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karadeniz Direnç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vural Yavuzalp having to interfere. A hard shot 81 in the game by Savaşer Tunç from a close distance when the talented Ayberk İzzettin managed to make a qualified save. Sariyerspor's players were relieved. After 83 played minutes Trabzonspor SK got a freekick which was hit by Güvenç Özdinçer. Ali Behzat Özerhan hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Tümer Kudretullah might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vural Yavuzalp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tümer Kudretullah ran back to his position shaking his head. Vural Yavuzalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tümer Kudretullah, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. After 88 minutes of play, Sariyerspor's Karadeniz Direnç made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vural Yavuzalp was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Trabzonspor SK getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Mustafa Hakan Elmacı hit a great ball. Savaşer Tunç who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 96thth minute tested the skills of Ayberk İzzettin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
