In the 16thth minute of the game Atilla Bumin Akboy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Düzköy SK's Kunter Akay was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Düzköy SK's Uğur Tolunbay got his second yellow card of the match in the 17th minute. The referee ordered Uğur Tolunbay off the ground. Kunter Akay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kunter Akay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batu Cem Berin, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Atilla Bumin Akboy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atilla Bumin Akboy kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Atilla Bumin Akboy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kunter Akay having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Atilla Bumin Akboy in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kunter Akay saved Düzköy SK from getting behind. Galatasaray's Batu Cem Berin got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kunter Akay came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Galatasaray's Batu Cem Berin. But to his dismay, Batu Cem Berin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3.

54 minutes into the game, Arif Çelebi Ertüze was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Düzköy SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Galatasaray the free kick. Atilla Bumin Akboy struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Kunter Akay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galatasaray. Batu Cem Berin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Kunter Akay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 60 minutes of play Düzköy SK's Arif Çelebi Ertüze was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Batu Cem Berin might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kunter Akay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Batu Cem Berin ran back to his position shaking his head. 67 minutes into the match, Atilla Bumin Akboy dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Kunter Akay, 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilla Bumin Akboy in the 70th minute of play forced Düzköy SK's goalkeeper Kunter Akay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kunter Akay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilla Bumin Akboy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Galatasaray left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Düzköy SK.
