After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Atilla Bumin Akboy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Galatasaray's supporters rose to their feet, but Atilla Bumin Akboy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The supporters of Banaz SK booed when Galatasaray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arif Nihat Bürgehan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anıl Cenk Aldemir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Korhan Vedat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray's Besim Darcan got a free kick in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Banaz SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Galatasaray had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
