A collision led to Suhut getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ersin Dertsiz hit a great ball. In the 8th minute Ersin Dertsiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demirhan Mansız saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, Asım Arif Kayıboylu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Demirhan Mansız showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ersin Dertsiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Suhut's goalkeeper Ali Erdem Sayman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baha Nevruz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Demirhan Mansız made a huge save. If Baha Nevruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Suhut booed when MARATON was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asım Arif Kayıboylu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 played minutes Suhut got a freekick which was hit by Remzi Settar. The audience was convinced that Necati Budak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ali Erdem Sayman was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ersin Dertsiz in the 31st minute of play forced MARATON's goalkeeper Demirhan Mansız to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute, Gökçen Yiğit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Baha Nevruz came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Suhut fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baha Nevruz couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, MARATON's Yiğit Berksu got a free kick in the 39th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Necati Budak made the kick off in the second half. Seyrani Talik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demirhan Mansız having to interfere. Necati Budaks short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Ali Erdem Sayman to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 56th minute Baha Nevruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demirhan Mansız saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ersin Dertsiz in the 57th minute of play forced MARATON's goalkeeper Demirhan Mansız to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Demirhan Mansız took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Devran Sebil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Seyrani Talik kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. In the 65th minute Baha Nevruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Demirhan Mansız saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Necati Budak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ali Erdem Sayman was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Korkutalp Bala's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Demirhan Mansız read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, MARATON's Asım Arif Kayıboylu got a free kick in the 85th minute. Demirhan Mansız came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Suhut's Baha Nevruz. But to his dismay, Baha Nevruz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Demirhan Mansız came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Suhut's Ersin Dertsiz. But to his dismay, Ersin Dertsiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Baha Nevruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
