Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 5 minutes into the game, Hazım Parskan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Galatasaray's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Borussia Bedıravas the free kick. The supporters of Borussia Bedıravas booed when Galatasaray was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hazım Parskan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Korhan Vedat made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bedir Başhekim in the 6th minute. The audience was convinced that Ali Asım Kutertan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Korhan Vedat was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Kristian Aleberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilla Bumin Akboy in the 82nd minute of play. Kristian Aleberg made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Batu Cem Berin sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Galatasaray eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
