The coaching staff of Agacören protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mümtaz İşkembeci had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 43rd minute, one of Agacören:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Agacören. The referee gave ƛƝƛƊƠԼƲ ☪ ƘƛƦƬƛԼƖ a penalty, 45 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Güngör Regaip, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Agacören's Nuratay Sümer. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ali Nabi Ayaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hacı Kenan hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the game, Agacören's Berkant Gezer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferdi Ecemiş made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind ƛƝƛƊƠԼƲ ☪ ƘƛƦƬƛԼƖ's goalkeeper Ferdi Ecemiş, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
