Spectators: 7059 (Terracing: 5403, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 0) Gündogmus's Kerem Taşer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Gündogmus's goal looked a bit too open when Metehan Soysal came free, but Onur Ali Mengüalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8thth minute of the game Ali Kürşat Özgenalp who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gündogmus's Onur Ali Mengüalp was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Mersin SK's Metehan Soysal in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gündogmus's goalie prevented a goal. Metehan Soysal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Onur Ali Mengüalp having to interfere. Fevzi Müslim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kerem Taşer in the 16th minute of play. Metehan Soysal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Barlas Selmi during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th minute, one of Gündogmus:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gündogmus. Ahmet Hasan Uzsoy scored 0-1 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Onur Ali Mengüalp, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Onur Ali Mengüalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Metehan Soysal, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. When Mersin SK's Metehan Soysal in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gündogmus's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Ali Kürşat Özgenalp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Onur Ali Mengüalp was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Ali Kürşat Özgenalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Ali Kürşat Özgenalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Onur Ali Mengüalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Metehan Soysal in the 44th minute of play. After the first half Mersin SK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Metehan Soysal to make the kick off. Ali Kürşat Özgenalp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Onur Ali Mengüalp made a huge save. The supporters of Mersin SK booed when Gündogmus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Başaran Hazlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gündogmus fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 59 minutes, Mersin SK's Ahmet Hasan Uzsoy got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Onur Ali Mengüalp. Metehan Soysal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Metehan Soysal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mersin SK's Ali Kürşat Özgenalp got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The attack was good, but when Ali Kürşat Özgenalp in the 71st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Ali Kürşat Özgenalp might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Onur Ali Mengüalp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ali Kürşat Özgenalp ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Mersin SK's Metehan Soysal slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Onur Ali Mengüalp. That made the score 0-3 after 78 minutes of play. Ali Kürşat Özgenalp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Onur Ali Mengüalp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Metehan Soysal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gündogmus's Onur Ali Mengüalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Metehan Soysal in the 86th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Mersin SK got a freekick which was hit by Vecdi Akpınar. Onur Ali Mengüalp made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ali Kürşat Özgenalp in the 92nd minute. If Metehan Soysal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mersin SK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
