When Mehdi Arıbaş came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Yesilköy SK fans jumped to their feet. Tokatspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Güner Ulu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Mazhar İzzet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 35 minutes into the game, Yesilköy SK's Güner Ulu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kenan Zeyrek made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. A collision led to Yesilköy SK getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Mazhar İzzet hit a great ball. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Oğuzcan Akçakıl got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Tokatspor's Kenan Zeyrek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mazhar İzzet in the 41st minute of play. Oğuzkan Civanmert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Ali Atıf Asya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 played minutes Tokatspor got a freekick which was hit by Basri Tezer. 85 minutes into the game, Kuddusî Aytolun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Yesilköy SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tokatspor the free kick. Mazhar İzzet scored 0-5 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kenan Zeyrek, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Yesilköy SK played a much better game than Tokatspor and deserved their victory. The Tokatspor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
