An unexpectedly hard shot by Berker Rıza Ulutay in the 9th minute of play forced Ceylanpinar's goalkeeper Rahim Atabek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Ancyra FK's Pars Toktimur got a free kick in the 12th minute. Mehmet Bilge Yazganalp came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Ceylanpinar's Can Şerefhan. But to his dismay, Can Şerefhan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Ancyra FK booed when Ceylanpinar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çakır Dilsuz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ceylanpinar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Uluç Uzer might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rahim Atabek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Uluç Uzer ran back to his position shaking his head. Berker Rıza Ulutay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Rahim Atabek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Uluç Uzer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Zafer Aktaşoğlu ran back to his position shaking his head. Uluç Uzer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rahim Atabek having to interfere. Rıfat Pekel's late challenge caught a Ancyra FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rıfat Pekel helped the player get up and apologised. Rıfat Pekel kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Ceylanpinar's goal looked a bit too open when Uluç Uzer came free, but Rahim Atabek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Can Şerefhan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Bilge Yazganalp having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Uluç Uzer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rahim Atabek was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Yücel Sökmensu charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yücel Sökmensu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Yücel Sökmensu kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Rahim Atabek came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Ancyra FK's Zafer Aktaşoğlu. But to his dismay, Zafer Aktaşoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 87th minute, Zafer Aktaşoğlu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rahim Atabek was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1.
