After some careless play in the hullcity defense, Cihangir Ülküm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cuma Oymen. The hullcity fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cuma Oymen should have stopped the shot. 8 minutes into the game, Genc SK's Abuzer Deryace nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cuma Oymen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Abuzer Deryace recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cihangir Ülküm in the 15th minute of play forced hullcity's goalkeeper Cuma Oymen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Genc SK's Aşkın Karin got control of the ball when Abdurrahim Sayılgan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Abdurrahim Sayılgan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Aşkın Karin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of hullcity booed when Genc SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Çağan Cihaner didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, hullcity's Abdurrahim Sayılgan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 33rd minute, Vecdi Samim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cuma Oymen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abuzer Deryace, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cihangir Ülküm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Cuma Oymen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cuma Oymen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abuzer Deryace in the 42nd minute of play. hullcity's Cuma Oymen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abuzer Deryace in the 44th minute of play. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vecdi Tugal to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Genc SK's Vecdi Tugal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. With a little luck, hullcity's Cuma Oymen got control of the ball when Kubat Kayıhan tried to sneak it across the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, hullcity's goalkeeper Cuma Oymen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abuzer Deryace. In a very dangerous position, a player in Genc SK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! Aşkın Karin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abdurrahim Sayılgan's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Genc SK's zone, Abdurrahim Sayılgan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aşkın Karin came out of the goal and Abdurrahim Sayılgan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 76 minutes into the game, Yakup Hayırlı was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. hullcity's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Genc SK the free kick. 79 minutes into the match, hullcity's goal looked a bit too open when Vecdi Tugal came free, but Cuma Oymen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Genc SK booed when hullcity was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vecdi Samim didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Abuzer Deryace cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Cuma Oymen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cuma Oymen came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Genc SK's Abuzer Deryace. But to his dismay, Abuzer Deryace quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. If Vecdi Tugal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
