Bilge Kağan Tüzüner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamit Karakan, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 28th minute Hamit Karakan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bilge Kağan Tüzüner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Hamit Karakan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gürsu FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hamit Karakan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bilge Kağan Tüzüner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Çağdaş Cantürk in the 38th minute of play. Gürsu FK were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Iskitler's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ediz Uygar took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Ediz Uygar got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bilge Kağan Tüzüner quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The Iskitler players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gürsu FK were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hamit Karakan was the one to do the kick off. Gürsu FK's Şerif Saver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kuddusî Ağaverdi in the 53rd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Iskitler's goal looked a bit too open when Atalan Okhan came free, but Bilge Kağan Tüzüner reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kuddusî Ağaverdi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şerif Saver having to interfere.
