The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Şadi Mutlualp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eyüp Rafih in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Eyüp Rafih ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Şadi Mutlualp was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Ertaç Hekimhanlı stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sezer Necip's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Eyüp Rafih hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The Acigöl JK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Basciftlik were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sezer Necip was the one to do the kick off. Seyhun Karan might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Şadi Mutlualp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Seyhun Karan ran back to his position shaking his head. If Gökcan Temur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ertaç Hekimhanlı showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 95th minute, Eyüp Rafih made a precise shot to the right of Şadi Mutlualp. Acigöl JK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. Basciftlik's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
