Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Musa Bakır started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Erdoğan Cansefa charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erdoğan Cansefa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Kekova booed when Cay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erdoğan Cansefa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Musa Bakır struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Vacib Renan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cay. If Erdoğan Cansefa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 11 minutes into the match, Kekova's goal looked a bit too open when Erdoğan Cansefa came free, but Vacib Renan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Cay getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ahmet Hamdi Tacir hit a great ball. In the 15th minute, Kekova's Yıldıray Özertem ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Seyhan Güler. Seyhan Güler yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Erdoğan Cansefa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Vacib Renan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erdoğan Cansefa in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vacib Renan saved Kekova from getting behind. 26 minutes into the match, Cay's Erdoğan Cansefa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vacib Renan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kekova's Yıldıray Özertem got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Erdoğan Cansefa came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Cay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erdoğan Cansefa couldn't finish the play. 38 minutes into the match, Cay's goalkeeper Seyhan Güler had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Meriç Kayral. The supporters of Cay booed when Kekova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alim Azimoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Kekova's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Muhsin Kose was slow to take the kick. During this time Cay's players had a chance to rest. Cay's Muhsin Kose was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vacib Renan in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 43 minutes into the game, Meriç Kayral was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kekova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cay the free kick. After a rather tough play, Kekova's Meriç Kayral got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Vacib Renan came out of the goal in the 45th minute to try and stop a shot by Cay's Musa Bakır. But to his dismay, Musa Bakır quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Yıldıray Özertem stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Erdoğan Cansefa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 62 minutes into the match, Kekova's goal looked a bit too open when Musa Bakır came free, but Vacib Renan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Musa Bakır fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vacib Renan having to interfere. In the 76th match minute, Kekova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yıldıray Özertem to maneuver through the defense. Erdoğan Cansefas short, quick shot in the 81stth minute got Vacib Renan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Vacib Renan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Musa Bakır in the 85th minute of play. Erdoğan Cansefa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 86thth minute tested the skills of Vacib Renan when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Süreyya Hicabi charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Süreyya Hicabi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Süreyya Hicabi hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Hamdi Tacir in the 92nd minute of play forced Kekova's goalkeeper Vacib Renan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 94 played minutes Kekova got a freekick which was hit by Coşkun Keşif. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Cay players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
