The referee ignored Muğlaspor's protests and gave Nurettin Bahadıroğlu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Muğlaspor's Nurettin Bahadıroğlu got a free kick in the 7th minute. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Muğlaspor's goalkeeper Mehmet Bedri Yalım, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If İlbey Sezginay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Sakirpasa's Lütfi İlkay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mehmet Bedri Yalım. That made the score 1-1 after 73 minutes of play. Uğur Soytekin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. İlbey Sezginay scored 1-2 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mehmet Bedri Yalım, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85th minute, Alphan Sacid got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. İlbey Sezginay in the 87thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mehmet Bedri Yalım, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. İlbey Sezginay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Mehmet Bedri Yalım tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sakirpasa's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
