Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Aşkın Geylan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. ElazığSpor's Kahraman Okatan got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8th minute, Doğan Aytekin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the game, Aşkın Geylan lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Vural Vecdi. 17 minutes into the match, ElazığSpor's Ahmet Özaltan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vural Vecdi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Halil Utku Eymen charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Halil Utku Eymen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, GARİPLER SK's Halil Utku Eymen got a free kick in the 20th minute. Doğan Aytekin hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Ahmet Özaltan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 24 minutes, Ferid Ruhi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GARİPLER SK and the ElazığSpor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ferid Ruhi kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After having played for 25 minutes, Aşkın Geylan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ElazığSpor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aşkın Geylan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 26 played minutes ElazığSpor got a freekick which was hit by Kahraman Okatan. Ahmet Özaltan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of GARİPLER SK booed when ElazığSpor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Namık Masum didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 41st minute of the match, Ahmet Özaltan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Vural Vecdi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ahmet Özaltan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Vural Vecdi made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ahmet Özaltan got free with Vural Vecdi in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 46 played minutes Aşkın Geylan rounded GARİPLER SK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bora Han Topuz made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Özaltan in the 53rd minute of play forced GARİPLER SK's goalkeeper Vural Vecdi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Demircan Sağlamer kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the game, one of GARİPLER SK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave ElazığSpor a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ferman Batır, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of GARİPLER SK's Vural Vecdi. 3-0. In the 77th minute, Aşkın Geylan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vural Vecdi was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 81st minute, Aşkın Geylan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, GARİPLER SK's goal looked a bit too open when Aşkın Geylan came free, but Vural Vecdi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in GARİPLER SK's zone, Namık Masum stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vural Vecdi came out of the goal and Namık Masum tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aşkın Geylan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Vural Vecdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
