Korgun's Rahman Akbatur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remzi Canatan in the 7th minute of play. Yusuf Bahadır Urkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peker Öğün, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Yusuf Bahadır Urkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferhat Tümerkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Kirikkale getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Mehdi Dengiz hit a great ball. 28 minutes in the game Uğuralp Özaslan did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Eren Lokman. Remzi Canatan hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Yusuf Bahadır Urkan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferhat Tümerkin in the 40th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Kirikkale's Kadim Olcay got a free kick in the 40th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Kadim Olcay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kirikkale's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Korgun the free kick. Kadim Olcay kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Şerif Bayazid to strike the kick off in the second half. Ferhat Tümerkin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yusuf Bahadır Urkan having to interfere. Şerif Bayazid sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Korgun's Ferit Terim pulled a muscle in his back after 55 minutes and couldn't finish the game. If Remzi Canatan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Korgun's goal looked a bit too open when Eren Lokman came free, but Rahman Akbatur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remzi Canatan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eren Lokman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rahman Akbatur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eren Lokman in the 76th minute of play. The throw-in from Zaid Koytan in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Kirikkale's Mehdi Dengiz. If Remzi Canatan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Korgun getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Cankut Rical hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the game, Eren Lokman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Rahman Akbatur was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Korgun's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
