Genco Totuk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Feridun Kalagay's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Kahraman Okatan was shown his second yellow card after 17 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Cemalettin Sidal kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, ElazığSpor's goalkeeper Genco Totuk had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Feridun Kalagay. Ahmet Özaltan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Muhittin Resai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Emekgücü's Cemalettin Sidal got a free kick in the 35th minute. Ahmet Özaltan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 38 minutes into the match, Emekgücü's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Özaltan came free, but Muhittin Resai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ahmet Özaltan in the 40th minute of play forced Emekgücü's goalkeeper Muhittin Resai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Aşkın Geylan notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Emekgücü's Muhittin Resai. When Cemalettin Sidal came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Emekgücü fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cemalettin Sidal couldn't finish the play. Ahmet Özaltan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muhittin Resai having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Emekgücü fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 67th minute. Penalty! After a rather tough play, Emekgücü's Özmen Tacim got a free kick in the 71st minute. Ahmet Özaltan took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Muhittin Resai. The audience was convinced that Feridun Kalagay's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Genco Totuk was relentless in the 90th minute of the game. Genco Totuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feridun Kalagay, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
