In the 7th minute, BEŞİKTAŞ JK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Abdurrezzak Demirtekin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gürkan Yönet struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. İslam Nihat didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FENERBAHÇE. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gürkan Yönet in the 17th minute of play forced BEŞİKTAŞ JK's goalkeeper İslam Nihat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yusuf Akyol kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. İsa Mert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cüneyt Uğuz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Cüneyt Uğuz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baykan Kahveci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cenap Budak kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, BEŞİKTAŞ JK's goalkeeper İslam Nihat had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Abdurrezzak Demirtekin. Cüneyt Uğuz came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by BEŞİKTAŞ JK's Azmi Ruşeni. But to his dismay, Azmi Ruşeni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Cüneyt Uğuz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Azmi Ruşeni, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. BEŞİKTAŞ JK's İslam Nihat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gürkan Yönet in the 35th minute of play. Azmi Ruşeni's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cüneyt Uğuz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Abdurrezzak Demirtekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. İslam Nihat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Baykan Kahveci managed to get in a good position for a shot. BEŞİKTAŞ JK's supporters rose to their feet, but Baykan Kahveci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cüneyt Uğuz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gürkan Yönet was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match Oğuzer Ekin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but İslam Nihat showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of FENERBAHÇE:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of BEŞİKTAŞ JK:s goal. In the 60th minute of the game, BEŞİKTAŞ JK got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. In the 64th minute Azmi Ruşeni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cüneyt Uğuz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 69th minute by Azmi Ruşeni got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 73rd match minute, FENERBAHÇE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birkan Bülbül to maneuver through the defense. If Azmi Ruşeni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 77 in the game by Azmi Ruşeni from a close distance when the talented Cüneyt Uğuz managed to make a qualified save. FENERBAHÇE's players were relieved. When FENERBAHÇE's Abdurrezzak Demirtekin in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 96th match minute, BEŞİKTAŞ JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İsa Mert to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. BEŞİKTAŞ JK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
