Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Haldun Yaruk started the match with the kick off. In the 13th minute Haldun Yaruk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emirhan Oker saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Feridun Baydak kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Feridun Baydak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emirhan Oker was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Tansu Akağan kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Şadi Sabih's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Emirhan Oker firmly grabbed it by the left post. 38 minutes into the match, Galatasaray's goal looked a bit too open when Hatemi Sebati came free, but Ahmet Sedat Tekgül reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Sedat Tekgül came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Beşiktaş JK's Kutalp Tekalp. But to his dismay, Kutalp Tekalp quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 45th minute, Alişan Azer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hatemi Sebati in the 46th minute of play forced Galatasaray's goalkeeper Ahmet Sedat Tekgül to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Sedat Tekgül took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hatemi Sebati, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 58th minute, Hatemi Sebati got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 62nd minute, Feridun Baydak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beşiktaş JK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Atabek Korucu in the 64th minute. When Şadi Sabih fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Galatasaray's protests and gave Şadi Sabih a yellow card for diving instead. Şadi Sabih kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the match, Beşiktaş JK's goal looked a bit too open when Haldun Yaruk came free, but Emirhan Oker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 73 minutes, Ahmet Orhan Bayındır mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beşiktaş JK and the Galatasaray players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Galatasaray booed when Beşiktaş JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Orhan Bayındır didn't get a good kick on the ball. Suat Seralp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emirhan Oker read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Atabek Korucu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emirhan Oker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Songurhan Nusrettin in the 87th minute of play. Lütfullah Kutel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Ahmet Sedat Tekgül tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Utkan Konuralp hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Emirhan Oker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haldun Yaruk, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
