Afyonspor's Yaman Kongur played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sarp Tuyan in the 19th minute of play. With his leg Alkan Dokuzer managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Afyonspor's Hasan Can Taygun fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 31 minutes into the match, Club Meftun's goalkeeper Alkan Dokuzer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hasan Can Taygun. After 31 minutes, Kandemir Işınbay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Meftun and the Afyonspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Meftun's Kandemir Işınbay got a free kick in the 32nd minute.
