Veli Geylani kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Erdi Rasih sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC MERT 04's Vito Morrison didn't even have to move. In the 22nd minute, Yusuf Ziya Secaattin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vito Morrison was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ergin Ülger charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ergin Ülger the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 26 minutes into the game, one of Saricakaya:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Ahmet Ceyhan Ülker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mustafa Barış Toycan in the 33rd minute of play. Ahmet Ceyhan Ülker was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Abdulkadir Safi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Abdulkadir Safi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mahmut Sıratullah in the 39th minute of play forced FC MERT 04's goalkeeper Vito Morrison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yusuf Ziya Secaattin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 54th match minute, FC MERT 04 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Veli Geylani to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute, Yusuf Ziya Secaattin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vito Morrison was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Ahmet Ceyhan Ülker showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abdulkadir Safi in the 83rd minute of the match. After having played for 84 minutes, Mustafa Barış Toycan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC MERT 04's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mustafa Barış Toycan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With his leg Vito Morrison managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Saricakaya's Yusuf Ziya Secaattin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Saricakaya's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
