Spectators: 7223 (Terracing: 5419, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sümer Ulutay got the match started through his kick off. Edip Muhtar's late challenge caught a Gaziantep SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edip Muhtar helped the player get up and apologised. Sümer Ulutay kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, Edip Muhtar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Süreyya Ozansoy came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Gaziantep SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Süreyya Ozansoy couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute Özal Gayret shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aral Ulutay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Senesevler getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Ali Behzat Ulgu hit a great ball. In the 21st minute, Kamber Orkutay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Mustafa İzzet Ezrak came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Senesevler fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mustafa İzzet Ezrak couldn't finish the play. Şentürk Yazargil shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Aral Ulutay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özal Gayret in the 30th minute of play. Süreyya Ozansoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ali Behzat Ulgu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yavuz Bülent Orgun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Özal Gayret sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Özal Gayret to make the kick off. Özal Gayret recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 55th minute Mustafa İzzet Ezrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yavuz Bülent Orgun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Gaziantep SK's Celalettin Kainat got a free kick in the 56th minute. Senesevler's Mustafa İzzet Ezrak got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 64 played minutes Senesevler got a freekick which was hit by Yetkiner Kerim. The audience thought a goal was coming when Süreyya Ozansoy got free with Aral Ulutay in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Aral Ulutay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özal Gayret, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute, Süreyya Ozansoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 75th minute, Gaziantep SK's Özal Gayret dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. 81 minutes into the match, Senesevler's goalkeeper Aral Ulutay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Süreyya Ozansoy. 94 minutes into the match, Senesevler's Mustafa İzzet Ezrak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yavuz Bülent Orgun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Süreyya Ozansoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Aral Ulutay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
