In the 5th minute, Vahap Özgur made a precise shot to the right of Taci Samin. ResurRection's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Etimesgut's Devran Uluöz got a free kick in the 10th minute. After some careless play in the Etimesgut defense, Arif Nihat Kılıçalp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bengt Almkvist. The Etimesgut fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bengt Almkvist should have stopped the shot. Vahap Özgur's late challenge caught a ResurRection's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vahap Özgur helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Etimesgut's Vahap Özgur got a free kick in the 15th minute. Yetkiner Kutlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt Almkvist having to interfere. Arif Nihat Kılıçalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute Yetkiner Kutlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt Almkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Devran Uluöz in the 24th minute of play forced ResurRection's goalkeeper Taci Samin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to ResurRection getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Hayrettin Karasu hit a great ball. In the 29th minute Devran Uluöz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taci Samin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yetkiner Kutlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Bengt Almkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt Almkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yetkiner Kutlan in the 34th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Etimesgut's zone, Yetkiner Kutlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bengt Almkvist came out of the goal and Yetkiner Kutlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute Hayrettin Karasu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt Almkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yetkiner Kutlan to make the kick off. Yetkiner Kutlan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt Almkvist having to interfere. Yetkiner Kutlan might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bengt Almkvist. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yetkiner Kutlan ran back to his position shaking his head. Etimesgut's Devran Uluöz got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Taci Samin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güray Başöz in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vahap Özgur in the 69th minute of play forced ResurRection's goalkeeper Taci Samin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Taci Samin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vahap Özgur in the 70th minute. Taci Samin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vahap Özgur went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The ResurRection supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Etimesgut's performance. The match ended with a win for Etimesgut.
