An unexpectedly hard shot by Güray Başöz in the 48th minute of play forced Gaziantep SK's goalkeeper Yavuz Bülent Orgun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Güray Başöz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Yavuz Bülent Orgun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Güray Başöz in the 71st minute of the match. Devran Uluöz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yavuz Bülent Orgun having to interfere. Yavuz Bülent Orgun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Güray Başöz in the 93rd minute of play. Gaziantep SK succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Etimesgut had controlled the match.
