ResurRection's Taci Samin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özal Gayret in the 32nd minute of play. Arif Nihat Kılıçalp's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 34thth minute, Yavuz Bülent Orgun skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Arif Nihat Kılıçalp could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Yavuz Bülent Orgun made a huge save. ResurRection's Songur Ergüvenç got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Taci Samin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özal Gayret, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. ResurRection's Taci Samin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özal Gayret in the 42nd minute of play. Songur Ergüvenç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Songur Ergüvenç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gaziantep SK's Özal Gayret got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Arif Nihat Kılıçalp managed to get in a good position for a shot. ResurRection's supporters rose to their feet, but Arif Nihat Kılıçalp was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yavuz Bülent Orgun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the match, ResurRection's goalkeeper Taci Samin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Süreyya Ozansoy. Hayrettin Karasu charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hayrettin Karasu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of ResurRection:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gaziantep SK:s goal. The goalkeeper, Taci Samin, was totally fooled by Gaziantep SK's Şentürk Yazargil, who 67 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Yavuz Bülent Orgun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Gaziantep SK's Şentürk Yazargil got a free kick in the 88th minute. Arif Nihat Kılıçalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yavuz Bülent Orgun having to interfere. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gaziantep SK's goalkeeper Yavuz Bülent Orgun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The ResurRection manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Gaziantep SK to win.
