Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Burhanettin Hazarbeyoğlu got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 9 minutes, Devran Uluöz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Etimesgut's supporters crossed their fingers, but Devran Uluöz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 10th match minute, Serik was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sezgin Özdal to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Güray Başöz in the 12th minute of play forced Serik's goalkeeper Cevher Durcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 13 minutes, Saadettin Oykan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Serik and the Etimesgut players grew even worse after the yellow card. After having played for 15 minutes, Burhanettin Hazarbeyoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. With a little luck, Etimesgut's Bengt Almkvist got control of the ball when Sezgin Özdal tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Etimesgut fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bengt Almkvist should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mevlüt Başesgi during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mevlüt Babacan, 38 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Bengt Almkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Burhanettin Hazarbeyoğlu in the 40th minute of play. After 41 played minutes Etimesgut got a freekick which was hit by Serter Demirdelen. Etimesgut's Bengt Almkvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Etimesgut from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Etimesgut booed when Serik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Burhanettin Hazarbeyoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Mehmet Edip Ergazi managed to get in a good position for a shot. In the 77th minute Burhanettin Hazarbeyoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bengt Almkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
