In the 13th match minute, Biga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kuddusî Esentürk to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Biga's Kuddusî Esentürk got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Bora Buğra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmet Arif Lefter went to the cornerflag to take it. Ahmet Arif Lefter who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Feridun Tengiz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ahmet Arif Lefters short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Feridun Tengiz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bumin Şahbey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Selami Savni in the 27th minute of the match. Batuğ Bahçeli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Feridun Tengiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bora Buğra in the 34th minute of play forced Biga's goalkeeper Bumin Şahbey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th match minute, Balcova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Selami Savni to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When Ahmet Arif Lefter came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Biga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmet Arif Lefter couldn't finish the play. In the 61st match minute, Balcova was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sedat Hisarcık to maneuver through the defense. Selami Savni charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Selami Savni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Balcova getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Selami Savni hit a great ball. Bumin Şahbey made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bora Buğra in the 69th minute. If Batuğ Bahçeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bumin Şahbey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Nabi Dokuzoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Selami Savni kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bumin Şahbey. That made the score 2-3 in the 86 minute of play. Balcova's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Ali Nabi Dokuzoğlu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. Biga's Bumin Şahbey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Biga from getting a goal against them. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Balcova walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
