Spectators: 7248 (Terracing: 5437, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Halit Çevikcan got the match started through his kick off. Ali Nabi Dokuzoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Feyyaz Ünlüer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 10 minutes of play ISTANBUL FC's Armağan Ağyar was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to ISTANBUL FC getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Armağan Ağyar hit a great ball. Feyyaz Ünlüer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bora Buğra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mustafa Oğuz Kunt fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ISTANBUL FC's protests and gave Mustafa Oğuz Kunt a yellow card for diving instead. After 16 played minutes ISTANBUL FC got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Oğuz Kunt. In the 23rd minute, ISTANBUL FC's Mustafa Necati Pekgöz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 31 minutes into the match, ISTANBUL FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bora Buğra came free, but Feyyaz Ünlüer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 32nd minute Bora Buğra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Feyyaz Ünlüer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bora Buğra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Feyyaz Ünlüer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehmet Emin Türünk kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Bora Buğra sped through ISTANBUL FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Feyyaz Ünlüer.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ali Nabi Dokuzoğlu to make the kick off. Feyyaz Ünlüer made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Bora Buğra sent off a good shot on target. Balcova's Ziya Yarlık was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Feyyaz Ünlüer in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When ISTANBUL FC's Mustafa Necati Pekgöz in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 60th minute, Mustafa Necati Pekgöz made a precise shot to the right of Feridun Tengiz. Balcova's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 66th match minute, ISTANBUL FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Necati Pekgöz to maneuver through the defense. ISTANBUL FC's Feyyaz Ünlüer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Nabi Dokuzoğlu in the 67th minute of play. Behiç Gümüşsoy kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. If Bora Buğra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Halit Çevikcan charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Halit Çevikcan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd minute, one of ISTANBUL FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for ISTANBUL FC. Feyyaz Ünlüer went to the wrong direction when Ziya Yarlık was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Ali Nabi Dokuzoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feyyaz Ünlüer having to interfere. Bora Buğra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Ali Nabi Dokuzoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Feyyaz Ünlüer was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Feyyaz Ünlüer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Nabi Dokuzoğlu in the 81st minute of play. Bora Buğras short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Feyyaz Ünlüer to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Balcova's Bora Buğra got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 85 played minutes Balcova got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Emin Türünk. Bora Buğra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feyyaz Ünlüer having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Ali Nabi Dokuzoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bora Buğra struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Feyyaz Ünlüer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balcova. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
