With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rahim Erdem in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Muhammet Nurtekin saved Arnavutköy from getting behind. Ahmet Arif Ufki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kamuran Temizkan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 8 played minutes Kocaelispor got a freekick which was hit by Artun Tuğra. A hard shot by Sedat Sadun from long distance, 9 minutes into the match, got Ahmet Arif Ufki's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 10th match minute, Kocaelispor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lütfullah Fişek to maneuver through the defense. Necati Çalımbay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Ahmet Arif Ufki made a huge save. Muhammet Nurtekin came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Kocaelispor's Serbülent Şahsuvaroğlu. But to his dismay, Serbülent Şahsuvaroğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 18 minutes into the game, Serbülent Şahsuvaroğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Muhammet Nurtekin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Özalp Gökalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Arnavutköy getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Melik Satı hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Rahim Erdem left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kocaelispor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Rahim Erdem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Lütfullah Fişek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the game, Serbülent Şahsuvaroğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Muhammet Nurtekin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Arnavutköy defense, Rahim Erdem kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Muhammet Nurtekin. The Arnavutköy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Muhammet Nurtekin should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Özalp Gökalp in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Muhammet Nurtekin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lütfullah Fişek struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Muhammet Nurtekin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kocaelispor. After 48th play minutes Serbülent Şahsuvaroğlu shot 0-6, a short shot which went by Muhammet Nurtekin and just under the crossbar into goal.

After a defensive mix-up in Arnavutköy's zone, Rahim Erdem stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Muhammet Nurtekin came out of the goal and Rahim Erdem tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lütfullah Fişek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Muhammet Nurtekin having to interfere. Lütfullah Fişek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Muhammet Nurtekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 101 minutes into the match, Kocaelispor's Rahim Erdem sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Muhammet Nurtekin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kocaelispor's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
