After a rather tough play, Karşıyakalıyız's Ahmet Seyfi Bintuğ got a free kick in the 6th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Karşıyakalıyız's zone, Recai Şenaltan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ceyhun Çağlayan came out of the goal and Recai Şenaltan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When BURSASPOR's Tansel Orcan in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Karşıyakalıyız's goalie prevented a goal. BURSASPOR's Necmi Vehbi suffered a sore thigh after 9 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anıl Ege Sönmez during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Karşıyakalıyız getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Anıl Ege Sönmez hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Recai Şenaltan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute, Olgun Koytak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of BURSASPOR booed when Karşıyakalıyız was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Berkem Mehmet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ahmet Seyfi Bintuğ ran over to the corner to take the kick. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 58th match minute, BURSASPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sertaç Sargut to maneuver through the defense. Olgun Koytak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ali Kağan Boysan came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Karşıyakalıyız's Özkan Demirbaş. But to his dismay, Özkan Demirbaş quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Özkan Demirbaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ali Kağan Boysan having to interfere. Özkan Demirbaş struck a weak shot in the 100th minute. Ali Kağan Boysan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karşıyakalıyız. Karşıyakalıyız were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of BURSASPOR for a fine match.
