In the 2nd minute, one of Tercan JK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tercan JK. The referee gave BURSASPOR a penalty, 4 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Seyhan Dağasan, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tercan JK's Behzat Akşit. 1-0. Behzat Akşit made an important save on a dangerous shot by Recai Şenaltan in the 13th minute. Behzat Akşit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tansel Orcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Tansel Orcan got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a little luck, Tercan JK's Behzat Akşit got control of the ball when Recai Şenaltan tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, BURSASPOR's Behzat Akşit threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Tansel Orcan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience was convinced that Recai Şenaltan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Behzat Akşit was relentless in the 26th minute of the game. If Songurbey Toygar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Tercan JK's goalkeeper Behzat Akşit had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Recai Şenaltan. Bahadırhan Eronat kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tercan JK's goalkeeper Behzat Akşit, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Necmi Vehbi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anıl Ozan Oyal hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Tansel Orcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tansel Orcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tansel Orcan to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Tansel Orcan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BURSASPOR fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Behzat Akşit took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tansel Orcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. BURSASPOR's Recai Şenaltan got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Recai Şenaltan managed to get in a good position for a shot. BURSASPOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Recai Şenaltan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Behzat Akşit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tansel Orcan in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Behzat Akşit prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When BURSASPOR's Recai Şenaltan in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tercan JK's goalie prevented a goal. Recai Şenaltan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tansel Orcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Behzat Akşit tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tercan JK's Behzat Akşit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tansel Orcan in the 77th minute of play. Behzat Akşit didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Recai Şenaltan went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 88th match minute, BURSASPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Necmi Vehbi to maneuver through the defense. Saffet Kanver charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saffet Kanver the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 91 played minutes Tercan JK got a freekick which was hit by Saffet Kanver. After a defensive mix-up in Tercan JK's zone, Tansel Orcan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Behzat Akşit came out of the goal and Tansel Orcan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 94 minutes, Tansel Orcan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BURSASPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tansel Orcan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Behzat Akşit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sertaç Sargut in the 97th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the BURSASPOR players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
