An unexpectedly hard shot by Halit Fahri Kocaalp in the 42nd minute of play forced Siteler's goalkeeper Refik Altuncuoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Siteler's Müfit Vacit got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FILOFOZ were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Siteler to leave the ground with a draw.
