Ziya Onur Has kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Denizlispor's Arif Bilge Sirri got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 22nd minute Necip İşçen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vecdet Kadirsah saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Denizlispor's goal looked a bit too open when Ataman Çelikel came free, but Vecdet Kadirsah reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vecdet Kadirsah took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ataman Çelikel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute of the match Mümtazer Nezihi sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vecdet Kadirsah skillfully saved the ball. After 34 played minutes Denizlispor got a freekick which was hit by Necati Akçalı. Necip İşçen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vecdet Kadirsah having to interfere. Necati Akçalı was shown his second yellow card after 36 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 37th minute, Necati Akçalı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Denizlispor's zone, Ataman Çelikel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vecdet Kadirsah came out of the goal and Ataman Çelikel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Denizlispor defense, Anıl Ege Usal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vecdet Kadirsah. The Denizlispor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vecdet Kadirsah should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ataman Çelikel in the 50th minute of play forced Denizlispor's goalkeeper Vecdet Kadirsah to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Necip İşçen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ataman Çelikel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vecdet Kadirsah having to interfere. Vecdet Kadirsah made an important save on a dangerous shot by Necip İşçen in the 71st minute. Kazasker's Necip İşçen was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 74th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 77 minutes, Aşkın Akgül mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kazasker and the Denizlispor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ataman Çelikel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Vecdet Kadirsah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vecdet Kadirsah stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ataman Çelikel's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Denizlispor's Vecdet Kadirsah played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ataman Çelikel in the 96th minute of play. Kazasker's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
