Kutay Cangur was left in no man's land by his defense there! Genesis's Neşat Erkılıç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tan Akpınar in the 34th minute of play. Cevher Nazır came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Neşat Erkılıç could save by the left post. In the 37th minute of the game, Mustafa Haydar Attar landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Kutay Cangur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Faruk Yaslı in the 48th minute of play. The Auset players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Genesis were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cevher Nazır to strike the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Genesis's Kerimhan Sinan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kutay Cangur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Cevher Nazır managed to get in a good position for a shot. Auset's supporters rose to their feet, but Cevher Nazır was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Neşat Erkılıç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kutay Cangur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ali Faruk Yaslı, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Ali Faruk Yaslı's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kutay Cangur was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Kutay Cangur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Genesis's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
