Mahsun Soytekin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Doğuş Tüney. Bodrum's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Bodrum's Doğuş Tüney got control of the ball when Samet Öktuğ tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 10th minute, Haydar Cenger reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Doğuş Tüney. The goal made the score 1-0. After 12 played minutes Günesli JK got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Ali Tanyol. Tugay Sadan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Tugay Sadan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barış Derman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Afşin Ünseven didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Semavi Bilgehan went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Barış Derman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Semavi Bilgehan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cezmi Aynacı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Afşin Ünseven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Günesli JK's Afşin Ünseven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Semavi Bilgehan in the 42nd minute of play. When Tugay Sadan fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bodrum's protests and gave Tugay Sadan a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Bodrum getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Tugay Sadan hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tugay Sadan in the 46th minute of play forced Günesli JK's goalkeeper Afşin Ünseven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Semavi Bilgehan to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Tugay Sadan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bodrum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tugay Sadan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tugay Sadan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Afşin Ünseven made a huge save. If Semavi Bilgehan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Barış Derman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A long shot from Ali Erdem Tugal in the 62nd minute of play was well struck, but Afşin Ünseven made a really good save at the right post. Ahmet Göktuğ Yiğiter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Afşin Ünseven managed to avoid a goal in the 69thth minute, when Bodrum's Barış Derman fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Semavi Bilgehan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Afşin Ünseven skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Doğuş Tüney showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haydar Cenger in the 73rd minute of the match. 2-1 became the score in the 74th minute when Haydar Cenger elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Doğuş Tüney made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samet Öktuğ in the 78th minute of play. After some careless play in the Günesli JK defense, Semavi Bilgehan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Afşin Ünseven. The Günesli JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Afşin Ünseven should have stopped the shot. Semavi Bilgehan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Afşin Ünseven made a huge save. Barış Derman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tugay Sadan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Afşin Ünseven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Semavi Bilgehan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Afşin Ünseven having to interfere. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Bodrum players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
