After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Gencay Seyyid managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sakaryaspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Gencay Seyyid was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Göksel Cevher breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 10 played minutes GAGS 1925 got a freekick which was hit by Erkin Akasma. Hacı Ali Uçman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Efekan Ulutaş came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Sakaryaspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Efekan Ulutaş couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Sakaryaspor's Semih Unan got a free kick in the 19th minute. Hacı Ali Uçman struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Göksel Cevher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sakaryaspor. A collision led to GAGS 1925 getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Erkin Akasma hit a great ball. In the 29th minute, Hacı Ali Uçman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Göksel Cevher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Baki Sadiray in the 36th minute of play. In the 40th minute, GAGS 1925's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gencay Seyyid fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Hacı Ali Uçman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göksel Cevher having to interfere. Efekan Ulutaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göksel Cevher having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Göksel Cevher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gencay Seyyid in the 70th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as GAGS 1925's Serbülent İşbilir slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gürcan Başarman. That made the score 1-2 after 71 minutes of play. Göksel Cevher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Efekan Ulutaş in the 76th minute of the match. Göksel Cevher stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gencay Seyyid's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gencay Seyyid in the 78th minute of play forced GAGS 1925's goalkeeper Göksel Cevher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Sakaryaspor manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing GAGS 1925 to win.
