Faruk Ortaçgil hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 8th match minute, EGEMEN SPOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fevzi Tekin to maneuver through the defense. Faruk Ortaçgil kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Gencay Seyyid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sarp Biçimli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 26 minutes into the match, EGEMEN SPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Gencay Seyyid came free, but İslam Baytekin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gencay Seyyid recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Gencay Seyyid had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gencay Seyyid received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. İslam Baytekin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hacı Ali Uçman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Sakaryaspor getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Semih Unan hit a great ball. 48 minutes into the game, Sakaryaspor's Gencay Seyyid nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. İslam Baytekin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After the first half Sakaryaspor were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hacı Ali Uçman to make the kick off. İslam Baytekin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bayram Özduru hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Sarp Biçimli took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for İslam Baytekin to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 70 minutes, Sarp Biçimli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sakaryaspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sarp Biçimli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind EGEMEN SPOR's goalkeeper İslam Baytekin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Faruk Ortaçgil fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored EGEMEN SPOR's protests and gave Faruk Ortaçgil a yellow card for diving instead. Faruk Ortaçgil kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Hacı Ali Uçman was extremely unlucky when he, in the 78th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Thanks to some nice moves Efekan Ulutaş could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which İslam Baytekin however easily saved by the left post. A hard shot 83 in the game by Gencay Seyyid from a close distance when the talented İslam Baytekin managed to make a qualified save. EGEMEN SPOR's players were relieved. 85 minutes into the match, EGEMEN SPOR's goalkeeper İslam Baytekin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Efekan Ulutaş. Fevzi Tekin's late challenge caught a Sakaryaspor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fevzi Tekin helped the player get up and apologised. Fevzi Tekin hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the game, Hacı Ali Uçman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of İslam Baytekin. Hacı Ali Uçman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Gencay Seyyid managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sakaryaspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Gencay Seyyid was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. İslam Baytekin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gencay Seyyid could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but İslam Baytekin made a huge save. In the 96th play minute Gencay Seyyid came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised İslam Baytekin. 0-6. Sakaryaspor played a much better game than EGEMEN SPOR and deserved their victory. The EGEMEN SPOR players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
