The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilgaz Sarvan in the 3rd minute of play forced GAGS 1925's goalkeeper Göksel Cevher to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serbülent İşbilir kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, GAGS 1925's Serbülent İşbilir got a free kick in the 7th minute. Sacit Arısan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nallihan's Ilgaz Sarvan got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When GAGS 1925's Bayındır Özker in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ahmet Nasir Bilgiç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bayındır Özker, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. If Tolunay Baykoca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Nallihan's zone, Bayındır Özker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Nasir Bilgiç came out of the goal and Bayındır Özker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Nasir Bilgiç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tolunay Baykoca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 40 minutes into the game, Hakkı Kenan Çağakan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GAGS 1925's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nallihan the free kick. After a rather tough play, GAGS 1925's Erkin Akasma got a free kick in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tolunay Baykoca to strike the kick off in the second half. Bayındır Özker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 57 minutes, Tolunay Baykoca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GAGS 1925's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tolunay Baykoca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sacit Arısan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Göksel Cevher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sacit Arısan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Göksel Cevher having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, GAGS 1925's goal looked a bit too open when Ilgaz Sarvan came free, but Göksel Cevher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in GAGS 1925's zone, Sacit Arısan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Göksel Cevher came out of the goal and Sacit Arısan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sacit Arısan struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Göksel Cevher didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nallihan. Erdeniz Oksu kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Ahmet Nasir Bilgiç stood somewhat misplaced when Tolunay Baykoca came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 89 minute. After a defensive mix-up in Nallihan's zone, Tolunay Baykoca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Nasir Bilgiç came out of the goal and Tolunay Baykoca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tolunay Baykoca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Ahmet Nasir Bilgiç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
