Spectators: 6914 (Terracing: 5514, Seating: 1300, VIP seats: 100) İbrahim Efe Serimer started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ömer Belen's late challenge caught a Hamamönü Spor Klübü's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ömer Belen helped the player get up and apologised. Göksel Cevher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İbrahim Efe Serimer in the 12th minute of play. Teoman İrgun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Göksel Cevher read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. In the 18th minute of the match Berkin Enginsoy shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sadri Uruç showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bayındır Özker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Sadri Uruç made a huge save. Sadri Uruç showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tolunay Baykoca in the 22nd minute of the match. Hamamönü Spor Klübü's Sadri Uruç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tolunay Baykoca in the 25th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling İbrahim Efe Serimer in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Göksel Cevher prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 37 played minutes, Hamamönü Spor Klübü's Niyazi Özkurt shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Göksel Cevher came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hamamönü Spor Klübü reached it. 44 minutes into the match, Hamamönü Spor Klübü's goalkeeper Sadri Uruç had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bayındır Özker. Ömer Belen, 47 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tolunay Baykoca to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Hamamönü Spor Klübü was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alemdar Ümit to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Hamamönü Spor Klübü's Hakkı Deniz Uludoğan got a free kick in the 52nd minute. If Bayındır Özker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sadri Uruç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tolunay Baykoca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sadri Uruç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bayındır Özker, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Tolunay Baykoca took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sadri Uruç. Sadri Uruç dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. İbrahim Efe Serimers short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Göksel Cevher to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tolunay Baykoca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Sadri Uruç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bayındır Özker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sadri Uruç having to interfere. If Bayındır Özker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamamönü Spor Klübü's Sadri Uruç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bayındır Özker in the 80th minute of play. Bayındır Özker sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Göksel Cevher came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Hamamönü Spor Klübü's Teoman İrgun. But to his dismay, Teoman İrgun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see GAGS 1925 lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
