Vecdet Tokkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gürcan Bektaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After some careless play in the Kasımpaşa SK defense, Gürcan Bektaş kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vecdet Tokkan. The Kasımpaşa SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vecdet Tokkan should have stopped the shot. Gürcan Bektaş struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Gürcan Bektaş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vecdet Tokkan having to interfere. After 19 played minutes Celebi got a freekick which was hit by Münir Ekin. After 24 played minutes Kasımpaşa SK got a freekick which was hit by Tuncay Sefaaddin. In the 25th minute of the match Rauf Uzgoren sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vecdet Tokkan skillfully saved the ball. If Feyzullay Altıparmak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Selim Hızarcı got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Selim Hızarcı fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vecdet Tokkan having to interfere. If Selim Hızarcı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gürcan Bektaş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gürcan Bektaş could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Vecdet Tokkan made a huge save. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kasımpaşa SK's goalkeeper Vecdet Tokkan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gürcan Bektaş recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Selim Hızarcı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gürcan Bektaş kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Mustafa Barış Ruhsat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feyzullay Altıparmak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celebi's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
