Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cebeci's Talip Uğursan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sertel Bedi in the 24th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Necati Kutulmuş in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Talip Uğursan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cebeci's Talip Uğursan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sertel Bedi in the 27th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Sertel Bedi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Derman Akdeniz came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Cebeci fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Derman Akdeniz couldn't finish the play. In the 44th minute Derman Akdeniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mehmet Şefik Murat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Derman Akdeniz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mehmet Şefik Murat. Derman Akdeniz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Necati Kutulmuş made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of FENERBAHÇE booed when Cebeci was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erdem Azim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Derman Akdeniz ran back to his position shaking his head. Talip Uğursan made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Sertel Bedi sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mehmet Hakkı Altıparmak during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 72nd match minute, FENERBAHÇE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Hakkı Altıparmak to maneuver through the defense. If Sertel Bedi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
